How to Walk Toward the Soil
Vanamu does not operate through instant entry.
Engagement deepens gradually. We prefer this sequence without exception.
1. Dialogue: Start with conversation.
- Read.
- Attend a public session.
- Ask questions.
- Exchange ideas online or in person.
This stage is exploratory.
2. Visit: Spend time in the space.
- Live and explore Vanamu
- Observe a build.
- Join a short workshop.
- Participate in a seasonal gathering.
- Engage in a lived experience
Experience the rhythm before committing.
3. Participate: Engage in structured learning.
- Multi-day workshops.
- Skill-building intensives.
- Design collaborations.
Here, practice becomes shared responsibility.
4. Apprenticeship / Residency
For those seeking deeper immersion:
- Work alongside masters.
- Contribute to live projects.
- Document and reflect.
- Take responsibility for parts of the process.
This stage requires commitment and humility.
Co-Creation
Long-term collaborators may:
- Host workshops.
- Lead initiatives.
- Develop new learning modules.
- Build regenerative projects aligned with Vanamu’s ethic.
At this stage, the seed circulates through shared stewardship.
